I love office supplies. Yeah, I know that might be strange to some people but it is so much fun to get new goodies to use in the office. Ink pens, sticky notes, and even paperclips are so much fun. I was really excited when I found out I was getting some office supplies to review from Shoplet.com! I received a Swingline SmartTouch Stapler and a box of Swingline Premium Chisel Point Staples to review.
Now, let me explain why I love a good Swingline Stapler. After working in the medical records department of a local hospital for nine years, I know what a good stapler is. There is no better feeling than when you click the stapler and it actually works. I have used a myriad of staplers over the years. Most broke within a short period of time. Swingline never let me down, so I was excited to try this new model. I was not disappointed.
First of all, the positives:
- Nice ergonomic design that is easy to handle. It fits right in your hand and can also be used while it is sitting on the desk.
- Easy-peasy stapling. The SmartTouch requires minimum effort for the staples to go through the papers. It is designed for use on up to 25 pages and it works effortlessly on those 25 pages.
Then, the negative:
- There was only one negative aspect. This being that there are no instructions on how to open the stapler to put the staples in it. I fiddled with it and figured it out but it was kind of tricky. Of course, once I figured it out, it was easy.
As for the staples, they came in this neat little plastic box that looks much better sitting on the desk than those cardboard boxes. The box keeps the staples nice and neat so you don’t end up with a jumbled mess. The staples also go effortlessly into the paper with the Swingline SmartTouch stapler.
You can find these great Swingline products at Shoplet.com along with other great office supplies.
