Getting Back On Track With The Reason I Blog

The past 6 months or so have absolutely flown by for me. I started this blog with good intentions of sharing my life and have gotten totally sidetracked. For several months, I was inundated with review products. Now, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love doing product reviews. I just ended up with too many at one time and it really put me in a bind. If anyone has ever told you that being a review blogger is easy, they were lying through their teeth. I want to make sure that I get quality products to share with my readers and I also want to make sure I give them a true review. Some products take a while to actually use and review. One such product is learning software. There is no way to gauge whether it is really working unless it is used over a period of time. The same holds true for certain types of computer software, household cleaners, toys, games, etc. Some things can not be truly reviewed in a day or two. Anyway, I feel like I have let everyone down by not writing about other things.

I started this blog to share the trials and tribulations of becoming a first time mom at the age of 40. I am now almost 46 and let me tell you, my life has changed-a lot. I hope to fill you in from here on out of the things that are happening in my life and will also keep up with the reviews and giveaways. I will be getting more selective for future reviews as I don’t want this blog to be only about reviews and giveaways. I have already started being selective about the giveaway events I get involved in. I hope to keep you around as well as add to my reader base.

  1. I totally understand. I have only been blogging about a year and have already had to re-evaluate my blog and changed my direction. I have gotten so bogged down with reviews/giveaways in the last two months that I have gotten side tracked with my content. I hope you have great success (personally and in your blog)!
