Clorox Clean-Up Recipes For Fun #RecipesForFun

I love doing crafts and cooking with my son. He is my budding little chef/artist. Doing things together teaches him a lot of lessons about reading/following directions, cooking, cleaning,  and so much more. We have a lot of fun together and learn things at the same time.

There is a new web site that makes it even more fun- the Clorox Clean-Up Recipes for Fun Site. You will find a variety of creative ideas for projects you can do with your kids. Recipes, crafts, science experiments and so much more can be found at the site. When you are finished with your projects, you can use Clorox to clean it up. In my opinion, nothing beats Clorox Clean-Up for good clean fun!

For our fun project, Caden and I decided to make some goo. It has been years since I played with goo. He was in for a surprise. What I like about these types of simple things to play with is that they are easy to make and in most cases, I have what is needed to make it. For our goo, we used:

  • 1 part warm water
  • 2 parts corn starch
  • Lime green food coloring

027We mixed it up and it took a few minutes of coaxing before he would put his fingers in it. Once I convinced him that it was fun he decided to actually play with it. We found the recipe at the Clorox Clean-UP Recipes for Fun Site, along with a myriad of other fun things to do. This fun project worked to get him distracted so he would quit trying to get his daddy on his trampoline with him. Be sure to check out the site for more activities you can do with your kids.
