Welcome to Mia’s Musings! My name is Lori and I live in the great state of Texas. I am currently an independent consultant for Paparazzi Jewelry, where everything sells for only $5!! I love that I can get fashionable jewelry at a price I can afford. I created Baubles and Bling by Lori to showcase my business.

I became a mom for the first time at the age of 40 and I am also a step-mom 4 times over. Having a baby at 40 meant a lot of changes in my life-but they have all been for the better! I no longer have a regular job. I decided since he was my only child that I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. I started blogging in 2007 and have had several blogs since then. I have also tried my hand at work-at-home jobs and mystery shopping.

Mia’s Musings came about when I decided to change blogs from a deals and coupons blog to a more diverse setting. I wanted to write about other things than just deals and saving money. I want to share my views on life as a first time mom at 40, product reviews and lots of fun giveaways. There will also be informative posts on working at home and a few other ways to make a few dollars.
