  28. My mom taught me to be a hey patient mom. She had 8 kids, plus working 2 jobs, taking care of the home and dealing with a hateful husband so she had to have the patients of Job. And I often hear that about myself. I also learned by watching what she went through to find a good man that would always be by my side and not to let a man run over me. I’m thankful my husband is that good man and helps in many ways even when he works 60 hours a week.. And he is a amazing father, so he helps me be a amazing mom. :)

  34. I learned to sew and that skill allowed me to make diapers for several very poor children. I made all the diapers that for 4 children for about $150 and my adopted son and several of his friends benefited from this skill

That extra bit of security has enabled my children to stretch themselves out and try new things, knowing that I will be there to pick them up if they fall.
